Student Volunteer Opportunities

General Team Member (Conference Team)
Students can serve as general members on the Education or Hospitality Teams. These teams will focus on creating a welcoming environment for all attendees at the conference.
Showcase Selection Committee (NACA Conferences & NACA Live)
Take an active role in determining who will appear on the showcase stage! Apply for a position on the Showcase Selection Committee, which is responsible for selecting the showcase acts. This volunteer opportunity is open to all NACA school members in all regions. The Showcase Selection process involves reviewing audio/visual and printed material submitted by NACA associate members, and building showcases following discussion and deliberation.
Stage Crew (NACA Conferences & NACA Live)
The Stage Crew plays an active role in supporting the load-in, load-out, sound checks and performance components for all the acts that will appear on the showcase stage at the NACA conferences.
Event Team (Regional Leadership Team)
The Student Event Team is responsible for identifying, coordinating, and facilitating all student (undergraduate and graduate) engagement opportunities at regional events in conjunction with their respective Regional Leadership Team.
Awards Committee
The Awards Committee Student Member will participate in the nomination review process for the Patsy Morley Outstanding Programmer Award, C. Shaw Smith New Professional Award, Frank Harris Outstanding Student Government Advisor Award, Diversity Achievement Award – Campus Program, Diversity Achievement Award – Individual, and Legacy Award.
